Over the years Rocky Mountain Outfitters has grown from doing overnight horseback riding to offering an array of activities in different places. Our goal has been to find the best locations and the best people- Fly Fishing Guides, Wranglers, Snowmobile Guides that are experienced and know what they are doing. They are the professionals- on the surface, someone might think RMO does a lot but isn't the best at anyone thing. RMO challenges that thought process. Through the many activities we offer we are able to have people in place running what we fill is the best outfitting business in the area. They are all specialists in each of the different adventures we offer. One call is going to get you set up with the best fly fishing guides in the area and the industry, a horseback ride that is perfect for you and your party, out on a guided snowmobile trip that allows you to learn and explore the back country, or on any of our other quality outdoor adventures.

Horseback Riding
Enjoy breathtaking scenery as you ride through the mountains of the backside of the Wasatch Front. We have a variety of horseback riding adventures waiting for you. If your a greenhorn looking to get on a horse for the first time or a seasoned cowboy looking for a true back country experience on top of your trusty steed. RMO will put together the perfect horseback riding adventure for you and your party.

Fly Fishing
Experience the thrill and tranquility of learning how to fly fish. Catering to both the novice and the experienced fly fisher, we have a trip that is suited for you. Trips range from two hour introductory trips to full day and multiple day trips. Let us know what you want and we will put it together for you.

Polaris (4 person) Razor Rental
New this season we are offering the Polaris Razor for rent. What better way to get out to the mountains and explore the Wasatch State Park than from behind the wheel of a Razor. This 4 person machine is the ultimate way to make your way up the mountain roads to unbelievable scenery. Go for a ride, stop for a picnic, or take a hike on trails not many others can access. You can pick up you razor at the Adv Haus Shop at Zermatt Hotel located in Midway, Ut. and take off on a truly unique adventure. Give us a call and we can explain more about these amazing machines. This is a great adventure for anyone- especially those families with younger kids that have to miss out on so many other adventures, corporate groups, or even for couples who want to get out and get that adrenalin rush.

Reins and Train Adventure
COME and EXPERIENCE the thrill of an old historic train ride and get off for an exciting trail ride through the valley of Soldier Hollow. On the train BEWARE of Black Jack Raven and the Soldier Hollow Gang, they hang out in this area looking for opportunities to rob, plunder, and take hostage those that ride the train. This ride is done in conjunction with the Heber Valley Railroad. We invite all to come out and experience transportation of the early West.
Reservations for this activity can be done under the Soldier Hollow Stables or by calling the office at 435-654-1655. Rides depart the Station in Heber at 11:00 am and are offered Tuesday thru Saturday.
For those with children under age 8 or might not want to ride a horse we have a horse drawn wagon ride available. This ride will take you to our Cowboy Village where the kids can throw a rope at a steer, play horse shoe, or just play around. Enjoy lunch and then head back for your return train ride.
